Armenian authorities are discussing the appointment of former Chairman of Armenian Court of Appeal Hovhannes Manukyan to the post of Armenian Ambassador to Georgia, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.

In the interview with the daily, Manukyan said he does not have nostalgia for public positions, but if he can do good to the country, he will be ready to work.

“I have not heard about my possible appointment to the ambassadorial post,” Manukyan said.

If the latter is confirmed for the post, he will become the 9th Armenian Ambassador having no diplomatic education.
