Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited Armanis mining complex within the framework of his visit to Gegharkunik and Lori, Armenia. Serzh Sargsyan familiarized himself with the laboratory centre and technical facilities for the operation of the mine.

The President was informed of further plans of Neva-Rus company, which implemented two investment programs jointly with “Sagamar” and “World of molybdenum”, NEWS.am correspondent reports from Lori.

The designed capacity of the plant is 800,000 tons of ore. The plant is to start operating next May. Up to 500 jobs are expected to be created. A total of U.S. $ 63 million will be invested, and all the products will be exported to Bulgaria, Serbia and China. The enterprise will produce concentrates of zinc, lead and copper, said Karen Ghazaryan, Director of Neva-Rus Investment Group.
