The Republican candidates will fight firstly for the elections to comply with democratic standards, and secondly to get as many votes as possible, said the RPA spokesman Eduard Sharmazanov after the meeting of the RPA executive body.

"We would like to show people, that our list in each area is the most competitive. Then, the community itself will decide whom to give its vote," he said.

"At this moment, the Republican Party according to the polls, even the polls of the opposition, is an obvious favorite. I will withdraw from providing any statistics, but will say, that we expect to get as much votes as possible in free and fair elections, "said the spokesman.

Today the RA ruling party has submitted the list of its candidates in all 13 electoral districts. The national list of the party will be ready in a few days. Other parties and blocs have not yet submitted their lists.
