On February 14, Armavir penitentiary prevented activities of the attorney of Varuzhan Avetisyan and Zhirayr Sefilyan.
As the Founding Parliament informs, Armavir penitentiary administration didn’t allow the attorney to perform his duties and meet with the defendant.
Shushanyan has been suggested to undergo a search, but he refused, qualifying it as an illegal act. The attorney has the right to conduct the correspondence solely with his client, which is the privilege of the two parties.
