On November 8, at 4:00 p.m. a 13-year-old girl Shushanik Mkhitaryan committed a suicide in Berd, Tavush region of Armenia. The young girl hanged herself, but it is not cleat what provoked her death, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports.

In an interview with the daily, officer of Berd police department said details of the incident are being clarified.

Criminal proceedings were instituted. An investigation is underway.
