YEREVAN. – A website will be set up along the lines of the upcoming London forum between the representatives of UK business infrastructure and 17 information technology (IT) companies from Armenia, said Artashes Davtyan, Trade and Prosperity Officer at British Embassy Yerevan, speaking to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his words, through this website, the forum participants will be able to get familiarized with the profile and trends of the participating companies, and, also, to arrange meetings. 

As per Davtyan, the website will spread out among the UK’s largest IT companies, and it will continue to run also after this forum. 

The British embassy representative added that the IT sector of Armenia was selected, since it can offer a huge domain of a variety of products to the European and British markets.

In addition, the embassy is funding the companies’ consultations with experts.

This London business forum will be held on March 9 and 10, and its objective is to sign contracts for further cooperation.
