Slovenian Institute for Standardization (SIST) will share with Armenia its experience in reaching the EU requirements, told SIST President Bogdan Topic to NEWS.am.

Topic, who is also the Vice-President of the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization issues (CENELEC), signed an agreement of cooperation between Slovenian SIST and Armenian National Standards Institute.

Armenia does not seek European association, however, there are opportunities for cooperation, and the EU expressed an interest in expanding its market to southern and eastern neighbors.

“Small states, such as our nations, must open their markets and seek to reach foreign markets to be flexible. I hope that we will be able to pass our experience of reaching the EU quality standards,” Topic said.
