Zurich authorities have appealed to the government, requesting to cancel for security reasons the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu’s visit, reports France Prese. "We will send a letter to Berlin, asking them to take certain steps to cancel the planned event in Zurich," said the spokesman of the security department of Zurich Urs Grob.
According to Grobe, there might take place "important demonstrations” upon the arrival of the minister.
