YEREVAN. – Police of Armenia will include the voters’ fingerprints in the online electoral rolls.
The respective decision was adopted at Thursday’s cabinet session.
A special database will be created to this end.
Deputy Chief of Police Vardan Yeghiazaryan noted that 3 million drams (about US$6,100) will be allocated for this purpose.
A parliamentary election will be conducted in Armenia on April 2.
