The results of the recent surveys revealed, that in the first round of the French presidential elections, the leader of the National Front Marine Le Pen and independent candidate Emmanuel Macron will receive equal number of votes, reports Reuters.

26 percent of respondents expressed their support for Marine Le Pen and Emanuel Macron, whereas 20% for Francois Fillon. Macron can win Le Pen in the second round at 65/35 ratio. However, Fillon will win Le Pen at 60/40 ratio. Earlier it was reported, that two-thirds of the French require Fillon to withdraw his candidacy.
