The French President Francois Hollande and the German Chancellor Angela Merkel qualified the aggressive statements of the Turkish authorities against Germany and other European countries as unacceptable, announces Elysee Palace.
"The President and the Chancellor consider that comparison with Nazism or any other aggressive comments regarding Germany or other EU member states are unacceptable," the statement reads.
Discussing the latest developments, Hollande and Merkel also came to a conclusion to allow to organize the events with the participation of Turkish politicians in France or in Germany, in case they fully comply with French and German legislation.
