Each political force should strive for 50+1 or 99.9% of votes, Razmik Zohrabyan, Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), told the journalists commenting on Prosperous Armenia members’ statement. Party’s representatives claim they would do their best to poll 99.9% of votes.   

If Prosperous Armenia gets 99.9% of votes it would mean dictatorship is established in the country as it used to be under the Soviet rule. History shows who is strong to poll 50+1 percent of votes. If communities of the country endorse any party it gets majority of votes, he added.

Zohrabyan forecasted that RPA, Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, Heritage and Armenian National Congress (ANC) will enter the National Assembly after the parliamentary elections.

The Republican Party will poll 50+1% of votes. As to the Armenian National Congress, Zohrabyan considers that ANC will enter the parliament if it peruses current democratic course.
