A total of U.S. $2.75 million were sold at NASDAQ OMX Armenia on Nov. 12, the exchange rate being 362.92 AMD. At the close of the trading, the exchange rate was 362.76 AMD – a 0.32% (1.19 AMD) devaluation of the U.S. dollar.  

It is yet early to account for the USD devaluation over the last three days by intensified business activities. We can still feel the fluctuations are not accounted for by economic factors. Rather, they are the result of demand and supply, influenced by some speculations.
