Russia will refinance the loans of Belarus in the amount of 750-800 million, said the First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vasily Matyushevski, reports Sputnik Belarus. The Belarus and Russian Presidents Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin during their meeting arrived at a final decision to refinance the loan commitments of Belarus in the current year.

"It refers to the loans, which we have made based on our bilateral agenda. We discussed this question last year. Now we're back and found a possible solution, "explained Matyushevski. He noted, that Russia will refinance the loans of Belarus, which Belarus will be accountable to fulfill wining a year. These amount makes 750-800 million dollars, taking into account the principal amount and the interest. According to the first deputy Prime Minister, they will need to make changes in the budget to accommodate the planned refinancing. The relevant action will be taken at the level of the Finance Ministry and the Parliament, he added.
