Islamic state executed more than 30 civilians in Mosul for an attempt to flee from the western part of the city, said the Iraqi army colonel Ahmed Jaburi. All the murdered soldiers were men, according to the military. "IS terrorists left their bodies in the streets to intimidate the population," said Jaburi.
