President of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of Iran Hassan Rouhani discussed situation in Syria in a phone conversation on Sunday.
Presidents touched upon the incident with chemical weapons in the Syrian province of Idlib, Kremlin reported.
Putin and Rouhani supported unbiased investigation into the incident with chemical weapons. The leaders noted importance of close interaction on diplomatic solution of the armed conflict in Syria.
