President Donald Trump stated that the US will not be going into Syria, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
“We’re not going into Syria,” Trump told Fox Business TV on Wednesday, but he did not specify.
At the same time, he said the recent US missile attack on a Syrian airbase was necessary, and added that the former Obama administration should have done this long ago.
