Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants and guests of the congress of Union of Armenians of Russia, governmental press service reported.
The statement mentions that for recent 10 years the Union has developed into an authoritative organization uniting 2.5 of Russian Armenians. He pointed out union’s activities aimed at strengthening of inter-national and inter-confessional relations in the country. Prime Minister Putin also stressed organization’s role in development of traditionally friendly, strategic relations between Russia and Armenia, as well as contribution to expansion of trade, economic, cultural and scientific ties between the states.
As NEWS.am reported earlier, Union of Armenians of Russia marks its 10th anniversary. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will also attend the solemn events.
