On November 17, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II received Ukrainian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Kukhta.

His Holiness Karekin II congratulated the Ambassador on the appointment to the new post and wished him success in his diplomatic mission, press service of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzhin informed NEWS.am.

Karekin II and Mr. Kukhta discussed spiritual issues of the two states, Armenia-Ukraine relations, as well as the development of bilateral cultural ties. The sides also stressed the important role of the Armenian community in Ukraine in different spheres of the country.
