Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance. Tigran Sargsyan held meetings with Rector of University Igor Maksimtsev and the teaching staff.

At the meeting Armenian Premier was awarded with a silver medal and in his turn presented some of his own monographs and books on Armenian cultural heritage to the university, RA Governmental press service informed NEWS.am. Sargsyan also left an inscription in the university’s guestbook.

Armenian PM also visited Saint Petersburg State University and participated in the opening ceremony of the bust of prominent Armenian scientist, first President of Armenian Academy of Sciences Joseph Orbeli. The Premier laid a wreath to Orbeli’s bust and stressed it a great honor to him Armenian scientist’s bust was erected in St Petersburg.

On November 20, the delegation headed by Tigran Sargsyan will return to Yerevan.
