The demand for early elections in Armenia is well-grounded, Aram Manukyan, Board Chairman, Armenian National Movement (ANM), told journalists Nov. 23.

According to him, the criminal actions taken in Russia and in the U.S., Armenian officials’ involvement, facts related to enriched uranium – all this gives grounds to think Armenia has reached a new level.

“The uranium case is enough for the Armenian authorities to resign. The army incidents are enough for the Armenian authorities to resign. The economic orientation and emigration are enough for the Armenian authorities to resign. Failures in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process and premeditated expulsion of Nagorno-Karabakh from the negotiation process are enough for the Armenian authorities to resign. Deceiving the international agencies is enough for the Armenian authorities to resign,” Manukyan said.

As to ANM’s main rival, for example, the Heritage Party or the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF-D), Manukyan said that the Armenian authorities are the ANM’s main rival.
