Commanders of the counterterrorism units and special services of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries have summed up the results of the first phase in the Dushanbe-Anti-Terror-2017 joint counterterrorism military exercises.
CIS Anti-Terrorism Center Head Andrey Novikov on Wednesday told the abovementioned to reporters, according to RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
The first phase of these exercises was conducted between May 23 and 26, in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
Novikov added that the second phase will get underway on Wednesday.
