YEREVAN. – A delegation from Kazakhstan has arrived in Armenia to discuss new projects of cooperation between the two countries, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of National Company “Kazakh Invest,” Birzhan Kaneshev told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The delegation will hold meetings at the Armenian Ministry of Economic Development and Investments and will present projects for potential Armenian investors, including in the mining sector. The Kazakh side itself wants to consider the possibilities of working with infrastructures, as well as the conditions of a free economic zone on the border with Iran.

“Membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) gives us considerable advantages,” Kaneshev said, adding that it is visible from how they arrived from Astana and easily underwent control at the airport.
