YEREVAN. - The working group of the Eurasian Union hopes to present the document on the results of talks with Iran, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia Hovhannes Azizyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am on Wednesday.
The EAEU negotiators hope to present the document at the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, which is slated for October.
In case the work proves to be successful, a 3-year temporary agreement on free trade will enter into force starting from 1 January 2018. It will be temporary, since the nomenclature of goods will be limited, Azizyan said. “In the future we will try to draw up another document, which will provide for a free trade regime for larger number of goods,” he concluded.
