Germany’s chancellor candidate Martin Schulz has called Donald Trump as the most “un-American” president of the United States.
In his view, “targeted breaking of taboos” is at the heart of Trump’s policy.
And commenting on Trump’s decision to withdraw the US from Paris climate agreement, Schulz noted that, with this decision, the US president wished to reduce the environmental standards and production costs for American products.
“[But] this will not work, since Trump missed the huge opportunity to modernize American industry,” he added.
