One of the gunmen managed to leave the building of the Iranian parliament, Tasnim news agency reported.
The attack has been carried out by three gunmen, who are still inside the parliament building. Two of them are armed with AK-47 assault rifles, and the third one has a handgun.
At least a person was killed and eight more were injured as a result of the attack.
