YEREVAN. - Armenian opposition Yelk Bloc expressed solidarity with the Iranian people on Wednesday.

“We were very sorry to learn about the terrorist attack on the Majlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the mausoleum of Ruhollah Khomeini in capital city Tehran.

We express our solidarity with the members of Iranian Majlis, political and spiritual leadership of the country, and the friendly and brotherly people of Iran. We offer condolences to the relatives of the victims and wish speedy recovery to those injured.

We are confident that the international community should unite all its efforts in the united struggle against terrorism,” reads the statement issued by the bloc.
