Qatar thinks that the recent steps by the Arabic neighbor countries pose a threat to the stability of the region, however, Qatar is not going to change its foreign policy for solving the crisis, Foreign Minister of the country, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, stated on Thursday, Reuters reports.

“We have been isolated, since we are successful and progressive. Qatar is a platform for peace and not terrorism. The current controversies pose a threat to the security of the entire region. But we are not ready to give up, and we will never change our independent foreign policy,” he noted.

In his words, Qatar has not yet received the list of the requirements of the countries, which severed diplomatic relations with it, but insists on the peaceful settlement of issues.

“There can be no military solution to this issue. This is a blockade, a declaration of war, a political, economic and social aggression! And the world should condemn that aggression,” he said.

Earlier, seven Arabic states severed their diplomatic ties with Qatar, accusing it of funding terrorists.
