YEREVAN. - A complex of solar water heaters for own needs will be opened at the Karekin I educational center of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Etchmiadzin in mid-July.

Deputy Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia, Hayk Harutyunyan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am at the IT forum DigiTec Business.

The device will be obtained and installed at the expense of a private donor. Energy audit has also been prepared for it.

“We are constantly in touch with the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The minister also got familiarized with the work. They consume great amount of energy, that is why the device will help them a lot. It will most probably be launched in the first half of July,” Harutyunyan said.

Another solar—more precisely, energy panel—complex will be installed not far from St. Gayane church little later.
