According to the Armenian National Statistical Service, 499 kg of gold was extracted in Armenia in 2009. Over 10.7 tons of silver, 7,200 tons of zinc, 5,300 tones of molybdenum, 33,000 tons of copper, 14,000 tons of copper and molybdenum ore, with copper concentrate constituting 60% thereof, was extracted as well.
