On November 26, Chief of Staff of Armenian Ministry of Nature Protection Samvel Amirkhanyan was relieved of his post.

According to Ecolure, he was replaced by Edgar Pirumyan, the Head of Division of Protection of Water Resources at the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia.

Spokesman for the RA Nature Protection Ministry Hasmik Mkrtchyan told NEWS.am the information at Ecolur’s disposal is untrue. According to her, Amirkhanyan was not relieved, but his tenure of employment expired.
