On November 27, OSCE Minsk Group U.S. Co-Chair Robert Bradtke met with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
According to APA agency, they discussed the developments in Karabakh peace process on the threshold of OSCE Summit in Astana.
The U.S. diplomat has also briefed the Azerbaijani minister about the meetings the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs held in Armenia.
As NEWS.am reported previously, OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs Robert Bradtke (U.S.), Bernard Fassier (France) and Igor Popov (Russia) arrived in Azerbaijan on November 25 and held negotiations with the Azerbaijani President and Foreign Minister. They left for Yerevan on November 26. After the meetings with the Armenian president and foreign minister, the U.S. and Russian co-chairs returned to Baku on the same day to inform the Azerbaijani side about the discussions. The French co-chair returned home to inform the French officials of the results of the meetings. Then he will fly to Astana. His colleagues will leave for Astana on November 28.
