Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited November 27 a bottle factory owned by the Saranist Ltd.

The factory has a full production cycle – from storing up raw materials to delivery. Some raw materials are imported from Ukraine, Iran and China.

The factory has been renovated this year, which increased its annual capacity up to 15 million bottles. The renovation was funded by the Saranist Ltd and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) – U.S. $1 and U.S. $3 million respectively.

The factory exports 40% of its products to Georgia. Last year’s output totaled 4.45 billion AMD. The factory employs 450 people, the average monthly wages being 120,000 AMD.
