Japan will for the first time host the G20 summit in Japan in 2019, the final declaration of the summit says, RIA Novosti reports, citing NHK.

The final declaration of the forum, which Angela Merkel is expected to read during the press-conference on Saturday, will mention the countries, where the summit will be held in the coming years. In 2020, the event will be held in Saudi Arabia.

It was decided to hold the summit in Asia in 2019. India struggled for the right to host the event but it then supported Japan, the final decision being made in favor of the Land of the Rising Sun.

The G20 summit, which was held in Hamburg thus year, will be hosted by Argentina in 2018.
