STEPANAKERT. – President of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR), Bako Sahakyan, on Sunday visited the Martakert and Shahumyan Regions and got acquainted with the ongoing construction of the Sotk-Martakert highway.

In Chapar village, Sahakyan held a consultation on the activities to be carried out in the final phase of this construction, Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, the President gave specific instructions to the heads of the relevant agencies with respect to the proper implementation of the discussed matters, and stressed this “artery’s” strategic importance to Artsakh.
