Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili met with U.S Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the margins of OSCE Summit in Astana.

At the meeting Clinton reiterated open support to Georgia, as a strategic partner, and expressed desire for future cooperation. She stressed U.S. supports Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The U.S. diplomat also emphasized the role of OSCE in Georgia’s conflict resolution and spoke of the necessity of European monitors to be allowed into the territory of Georgia.
