President Ilham Aliyev’s refusal to meet with his Russian and Armenian counterparts, Dmitry Medvedev and Serzh Sargsyan, on the margins of the OSCE Summit once more proved he escapes unfavorable circumstances, Artak Davtyan, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary faction, told journalists Dec. 2.
“It is, to an extent, a character trait. Aliyev is actually unable to get over the deserter syndrome,” he said.
According to him, Aliyev’s “buddy-buddy manners” is revealed not only at the negotiation table, but also in WikiLeaks-published documents.
