Associated Press reported that US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson did not speak to journalists after his talk Sunday with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in the Filipino capital city of Manila, according to Interfax news agency.

The respective statement reads that the top US diplomat left by car, immediately after the meeting.

The agency noted that, prior to their talk, neither Tillerson nor Lavrov responded to the question on US sanctions against Russia.
