The Armenian Statistical Service has released the consumer price indices for this January-November.

The general consumer price index reached 108.1% this January-October against the corresponding period last year. The highest consumer price index, 108.4%, was registered for this January-March, it being 107.9% this January-October.

Inflation has chiefly been fueled by rise in the prices for food (8.8%), clothing and footwear (11.7%), as well as for rent, fuel and electric energy (11.2%).

The following prices showed an especially high rise: for meat (14.7%), fish products (12.3%), fruit (13%), vegetables and potatoes (24.6%) sugar (20.8%).
