Armenian singer Emmy (Emma Bejanyan) will represent Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, President of the Council of Public Television and Radio Company of Armenia Alexan Harutyunyan told the reporters on December 11.

According to Harutyunyan, Public Television of Armenia made a decision to hold an Armenian national on the selection of the song, not the singer. Emmy will perform the song, while the contest for the song will be held among TV viewers.

“Emmy is ready to participate in the song contest. We should take sides with her and do our utmost for Armenia to make a perfect performance,” he stressed.
