On December 13, the delegation of Russian Orthodox Church visited monasteries in Armenia.
The delegates visited Kecharis monastery complex and Geghardavank, Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin informed NEWS.am.
Next day the delegation visited Armenian Genocide memorial Tsitsernakaberd and paid tribute to the Genocide victims. Metropolitan Ilarion of Volokolamsk laid a wreath at the memorial and prayed for the repose of their souls.
Later, the delegation members visited Russian Surb Khach (St. Cross) Church in Yerevan and Metropolitan Ilarion got acquainted with the construction works.
On December 14, the delegation left for Moscow.
