On December 15, newly appointed Latvian Ambassador to Armenia Gints Apals (residence Vienna) presented his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

Latvia is determined to assist Armenia while cooperating and implementing programs with the EU, and is ready to share its experience, Ambassador Apals said.

He also extended the invitation of Latvian President Valdis Zatlers to visit Latvia in 2011 which was accepted by President Sargsyan, RA presidential press service informed NEWS.am.
