The Amazon.com Inc. founder Jeff Bezos’ net worth exceeded $ 100 billion on Black Friday sales, Bloomberg reported.

According to the agency, the online retailer’s shares jumped more than two percent on optimism for Black Friday sales. Online purchases on Black Friday are up 18.4 percent over last year.

Earlier, Amazon founder’s fortune was estimated at $ 93.1 billion. Amazon's chief Jeff Bezos has repeatedly topped Forbes' ranks of the world's richest.

Amazon is one of the world's largest online retailers. The company operates in USA, Canada, China, Brazil, Japan and European countries. The online store was launched in July 1995.
