At a December 21 news conference, RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan expressed confidence that the Nairit plant will be re-launched. The re-launching program is under discussion amid the growing international demand for rubber.

This year’s rubber output is expected to be 28% less than last year. On the other hand, incomes have shown a 37% increase.

The Nairit plant produces chloroprene rubber, carbinol, caustic soda, bleach, quick lime, latex, oxygen, carboxylic monoacids.

Rhinoville Property Limited holds 90% of the company stock, with 10% held by the RA Government.
