On December 21, the U.S. dollar sowed some revaluation at the NASDAQ OMX stock exchange – 359 AMD/U.S. $1 against 358.85 AMD/U.S. $1. It must have been the result of the Armenian Government’s intervention. A total of U.S. $4.3 million were sold.
However, Yerevan’s exchange offices go on purchasing U.S. dollars at an exchange rate of 357 AMD/U.S. $1 and selling at an exchange rate of 360 AMD/U.S. $1.
