Natural resources development needs better control in Armenia, RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan told journalists Dec. 21.

NEWS.am reminds readers that the RA Control Chamber accused the GeoProMining Company of violating the license agreement in developing the Sot goldfield.

The RA Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources is entitled to issue licenses for natural resources development. Minister Movsisyan pointed out that a task group has been formed at the ministry to deal with violations.

As regards the bill “On mineral resources” the RA Government recalled from Parliament, the Minister said it will be re-submitted to Parliament after being revised.
