The coalition is rather strong, and no shock threatens it, Galust Sahakyan, Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group, told journalists December 23. Those expecting the coalition to break up will be disappointed. Any talks about the coalition’s dissolution are “political delusion.”

“Some individuals and forces are impatient for the coalition-forming forces to separate from each other. It will naturally take place just before the elections,” Sahakyan said.

NEWS.am reminds readers that rumors about the coalition’s imminent dissolution are circulating in Armenia. Specifically, the Prosperous Armenia Party is rumored to be going to leave the coalition after the New Year holidays.
