Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad answered the reporters’ questions at a press conference on the sidelines of the summit meeting of 11th Heads of State and Government Summit of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Istanbul.

Ahmadinejad stressed the deployment of NATO anti-missile systems in Turkey will no way affect Tehran-Ankara relations, Turkish Haberx reports.

Referring to the Karabakh conflict resolution, Iran’s President emphasized a dialogue is the solution to all conflicts.

“Iran-Azerbaijan relations are fraternal. We protect Azerbaijani people’s right. Armenia and Iran are on good terms too,” Ahmadinejad said, recalling Iran has already expressed readiness to act as a mediator to resolve the conflict.
