The winners of an innovations contest in Armenia have been announced. The three winner teams have received 500,000 AMD (U.S. $1,400) each, Zhenya Azizyan, Coordinator, Establishment of Microsoft Innovation Center (MIC), told NEWS.am. Eight teams with nine innovations applied for participation in the contest.

Three winner teams are composed of young people under 35. The Plato team presented an automation system for iDent dental clinics. The X-team presented the Wish-2 real software enabling any individual and legal entity to inform the public of its needs. The third winner team presented a “strategy” game, Country of Stones. The game is of historical, patriotic and educational importance.

The contest was held in cooperation with the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), Establishment of Microsoft Innovation Center (MIC), USAID.
