Twenty-five groups of scientists will get grants from the Armenian National Science and Education fund (ANSEF) in 2011.
The fund has already reviewed 161 applications and chose the best 25, among them 18 groups from the Armenian Academy of Sciences, six – from the Yerevan State University and one from the State Engineering University of Armenia.
ANSEF was founded in 2000 by the Armenian intellectuals of U.S. Since 2000 it has been providing $5000 grants to the groups of scientists working in Armenia. Up to date, it has awarded over 500 Armenian scientists.
